| I had to turn down a very nice job at NATO HQ in Brussels in large part because I would never be able to afford being a car guy in Belgium. You are not permitted to alter cars from OEM form in anyway. It starts with these little "oh that's not a big deal" rules, and the next thing you know, that inch you gave has become a mile. The only question is where do you draw the line? Because once all the non-car guy types have been acclimated to it and they dont care one way or the other, they will be used against you to drown out whatever petty objections you may have once you finally reach the limit of what you are willing to tolerate.
